MUSIC @ Trans-MISSION |
---|
Some people come to Trans-MISSION [TX] just to sit in our swish lounge and have a drink and a natter with friends; but most people venture up to our dance-floor at some point in the evening so we thought we'd give you a taste for the kind of music you can expect to hear. Musical tastes can be very personal and with such a wide range of ages and backgrounds amongst the party-goers at TX it's difficult for our DJs to keep all the people happy all the time, however we do try our best to play something for everyone. Remember that the dance-floor at TX is for dancing, so don't expect to hear Perry Como or Slayer. What we do play can be summed up as follows: CLASSIC ANTHEMS FROM THE PAST CLASSIC ANTHEMS OF THE FUTURE Other than on special occasions (such as our occasional 80's nights), you won't hear much rock, goth, cheesy pop, banging trance or hip-hop (though the odd tune does make it onto our play-list once in a while). You will enjoy music that everyone can dance to, from classic disco from the 70's and 80's, the best dance tunes from the 90's and 00's and upcoming anthems that the rest of the country will be enjoying in 6 months time. To give you an idea of what we mean, below are a number of clips from sets that our resident DJs have performed in the past at TX. Just click on the 'PLAY' button to hear examples of the kind of stuff you are might hear! |
